Time to Survive
(c.1975)

W.A. Police Force doco. Simulates the procedures required in the event of a crash landing of an aircraft (B727) at Perth Airport and subsequent fire. All Services involved. Reminds us a little of early Homicide TV shows and production values. All forms of transport of the time shown in the period of this undated film. Cars, ambulances, fire engines.

20 minutes, B&W

Aeeronautical Telecommunications (1957)

An overview of the fixed and mobile aeronautical telecommunications network in a typical area of the world. Good footage of various airliners of the period, including a Boeing Stratocruiser. Very relevant to the Airways Museum's core themes.

B+W 23 minutes.

Beef by Air (1950s)

The story of the Air Beef scheme in Western Australia's Kimberley region. Plenty of action with ANA Bristol Freighters at Glenroy Station.
